Clear Creek Combine Sewerage Overflow (CSO) Treatment Facility, Atlanta, GA.

The Clear Creek (CSO) Treatment Facility is one of the West Area CSO facilities and is located at 1320 Monroe Drive. Constructed in 1996, the Clear Creek CSO Treatment Facility is unique in that it was designed to be compatible with the architecture of surrounding residential and commercial establishments. Comprised of approximately 3,086 acres and having a maximum overflow capacity of approximately 5,060 million gallons per day, the Clear Creek CSO Facility serves the largest combined sewershed of the City’s seven CSO facilities, and includes the Downtown Business District and Midtown Atlanta.

Interstate 20 Bridge Widening, DeKalb County, GA.

HGD provided preliminary and final design services for the Georgia Department of Transportation on four bridge widenings along I-20 East from Boulevard Avenue to Glenwood Avenue.

Georgia Institute of Technology Dormitories, Atlanta, GA.

HGD provided structural design services on this four story project at Georgia Institute of Technology. It served as temporary housing for athletes participating in the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games and was later converted to permanent GA Tech student housing.
